DDxordle presents fictional patients and asks you to reason your way to a diagnosis. Every case, clue, reference range and written explanation here is teaching material, generated and reviewed as teaching material. It is not clinical guidance. It does not stand in for training, for supervision, or for a real clinician's judgement. It can contain errors and simplifications, and it can contain details chosen because they make the puzzle work rather than because they describe any real patient. Nothing here creates a doctor–patient relationship. Do not use this site to diagnose or treat yourself or anybody else. If you or someone near you may be unwell, go to a qualified professional, and in an emergency call your local emergency number.
Anyone who can agree to these terms. If you are under the age at which you can agree to terms on your own where you live, get a parent or guardian to say yes first. The game is written for medical students and other people learning clinical reasoning, but anyone curious is welcome to it.
The whole game plays without signing in and without accepting a cookie. Enable saving and this browser is given a random identity, which is what makes your scores, streak and percentile persist. Signing in with Google or an emailed link attaches that record to an account so it follows you between devices. Our privacy policy sets out what is stored and what is not. Keeping access to your own email or Google account is on you; it is the only key to your record.
Every player gets a display name, and no two are the same. Your name sits next to your score on the public leaderboards unless you hide yourself, which is a switch on your own row that you can flip as often as you like. Pick a name you would not mind a stranger reading.
A name must not impersonate anyone, advertise anything, or work as a slur, as harassment, or as abuse of any other kind. We may reset one that does, and where it is plainly abusive we may hide the account from the public boards without warning. Neither of those deletes your scores.
The scoring is the whole point of the game, so please do not forge it. No scripted or automated play. No submitting results the game did not produce. No probing or overloading the site's systems, no scraping the case library, and no reaching for another player's data. Scores we can see are fabricated may be removed, and access that is damaging the service for everyone else may be blocked. One last thing, which is manners rather than a rule: don't give away the day's answer in public before the day is out.
The site, its design, its writing and its generated case library are ours, and you may not republish them wholesale or pass them off as your own. Using what you learn, talking about cases and quoting a little of it with attribution are all fine, and are what a teaching game is for. The underlying medical facts belong to nobody.
DDxordle is offered free and as-is. A new case goes up daily, but nothing here promises uninterrupted service, promises that a given case stays playable, or promises that scores and streaks can never be lost. Features may change or go away. The game may one day stop altogether, and if it does we will try to say so on the site first.
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, and we are specifically not liable for a clinical decision taken in reliance on anything here, which is the thing the first section asks you never to do. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Stop playing whenever you like, clear the site's data out of your browser, and email iviran45@gmail.com to have your stored record deleted. We may suspend access for someone breaking these terms, and if there is a way to reach them we would normally explain why.
If these terms change, the new version appears here under a new date, and playing on after that is how you accept it. We are not going to quietly weaken what the first section promises.
